Integral Input to State Stable systems in cascade

چکیده
The Integral Input to State Stability (iISS) property is studied is the context of nonlinear time-invariant systems in cascade. Some sufficient conditions for the preservation of the iISS property under a cascade interconnection are presented. Those are first given as growth restrictions on the supply functions of the storage function associated to each subsystem, and then are expressed as solutions-based requirements. A Lyapunov-based condition guaranteeing that the cascade composed of an iISS system driven by a Globally Asymptotically Stable (GAS) one remains GAS. Some of these results extend to cascades composed of more than two subsystems.

A new approach based on state conversion to stability analysis and control design of switched nonlinear cascade systems
In this paper, the problems of control and stabilization of switched nonlinear cascade systems is investigated. The so called simultaneous domination limitation (SDL) is introduced in previous works to assure the existence of a common quadratic Lyapunov function (CQLF) for switched nonlinear cascade systems. According to this idea, if all subsystems of a switched system satisfy the SDL, a CQLF ...
متن کاملRobust Adaptive Actuator Failure Compensation of MIMO Systems with Unknown State Delays
In this paper, a robust adaptive actuator failure compensation control scheme is proposed for a class of multi input multi output linear systems with unknown time-varying state delay and in the presence of unknown actuator failures and external disturbance. The adaptive controller structure is designed based on the SPR-Lyapunov approach to achieve the control objective under the specific assump...
متن کاملState-Dependent Scaling Characterization for Interconnected Nonlinear Systems–Part II: Small Gain Theorems for iISS and ISS Properties¶§
This paper is devoted to the problem of stability analysis for interconnected integral input-to-state stable(iISS) systems and input-to-state stable(ISS) systems. In the first part of this two-part paper, the state-dependent scaling problem has been proposed as a general mathematical formulation whose solutions explicitly provide Lyapunov functions proving stability properties of feedback and c...
متن کاملCascade of Fractional Differential Equations and Generalized Mittag-Leffler Stability
This paper address a new vision for the generalized Mittag-Leffler stability of the fractional differential equations. We mainly focus on a new method, consisting of decomposing a given fractional differential equation into a cascade of many sub-fractional differential equations. And we propose a procedure for analyzing the generalized Mittag-Leffler stability for the given fractional different...
متن کاملIntegral Input-to-State Stability for Interconnected Discrete-Time Systems
In this paper, we investigate integral input-to-state stability for interconnected discrete-time systems. The system under consideration contains two subsystems which are connected in a feedback structure. We construct a Lyapunov function for the whole system through the nonlinearly-weighted sum of Lyapunov functions of individual subsystems. We consider two cases in which we assume that one of...
